 What’s New for the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe?

While the Hyundai Santa Fe has been delivering smiles to its drivers for more than two decades, this midsize crossover SUV’s performance, features, and styling are not stale. For 2021, the Santa Fe has a fresh look with a completely revised front end and modernized contours on all surfaces. The front end’s style is brought to life by a reshaped grille flanked by vertical headlights with a beautiful shape. Inside the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe, you can appreciate a modernized dashboard design paired with leather and other high-level materials in select trim levels. The touch display screen is also more extensive, and the gear selector stick has been replaced with buttons.

The two engines available for the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe are also new. The primary powertrain has been enlarged and is now a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine that generates 191 horsepower. The turbocharged engine offered in higher trim levels has also been upgraded and produces 235 horsepower. For the first time, the Santa Fe is offered with a turbo 1.6-liter hybrid system, and this unit produces 225 net horsepower. The four trim options have not changed going into the Santa Fe’s 2021 model year. These trims are the SE, the SEL, the Limited, and the Calligraphy from the starting level. Throughout all or most of the 2021 trim levels, the Santa Fe comes with a rear cross-traffic alert, heated seats, wireless device charging, a push-button starter, a blind-spot monitor, and other high-end features. If you choose a higher trim level, your Santa Fe may also have quilted leather seats, a sunroof, a heads-up display screen, parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and a brilliant array of other features.
